The Indonesian National Agency for Higher Education Entrance Test (LTMPT) has just announced a list of Senior High Schools (SMA) with the highest average Computer-Based Written Examination (UTBK) scores. In West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), only 3 SMA made it into the Top 1,000 SMA list.

Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) Insan Cendekia Lombok Timur is the best SMA in NTB with an average score of 581.09 in 2022. Nationally, this SMA from East Lombok Regency ranks 95th.

This is followed by SMA Negeri 1 Mataram with a score of 533.91, ranking 2nd in NTB and 471st nationally. Meanwhile, SMAN 1 Sumbawa Besar, with a score of 518.85, is ranked 3rd provincially and 815th nationally.

LTMPT ranked the top 1,000 schools in Indonesia using the 2022 UTBK scores. This ranking comprises 23,657 schools with 745,115 participants.

Here is the ranking methodology for the Top 1,000 schools according to LTMPT 2022:

* Schools with more than 40 participants in the 2022 UTBK (2022 graduates).
* 3,381 schools met this criterion.
* 515,165 participants met the 2022 UTBK assessment criteria.
* The 2022 UTBK score is calculated based on 60% TPS + 40% TKA.
* Schools are ranked based on the highest to lowest Total Score.
* The top 1,000 schools with the highest Total Score are selected.
