List of Top High Schools in Jakarta Based on 2021 UTBK Scores for 2022 Student Admissions, What Are They?

New Student Admissions (PPDB) will be held again in May 2022. Based on a report from the Higher Education Entrance Examination Institution (LTMPT), there are top senior high schools (SMA) in Jakarta that can be considered before choosing a school.

This list of top SMA is ranked based on the average score of the Computer-Based Written Examination (UTBK) in 2021.

The top position is occupied by SMAN Unggulan M.H. Thamrin, East Jakarta. This school has an average UTBK score last year of 635.675. This score is ranked second nationally.

Next, SMAN 8 Jakarta, South Jakarta has an average UTBK score of 630.860. Then, SMAS 1 BPK Penabur, West Jakarta has an average UTBK score of 617.214.

SMAN 28 Jakarta, South Jakarta has an average UTBK score of 611.727. Followed by SMAN 81 Jakarta, East Jakarta and SMA Labschool Kebayoran with average UTBK scores of 607.402 and 607.014 respectively.

The 2022 PPDB selection is divided into 4 pathways, namely the zoning pathway, the affirmative pathway, the parent/guardian transfer pathway, and the achievement pathway. The achievement pathway is open to students with academic and non-academic achievements at the district/city, provincial, and national levels.

Meanwhile, the affirmative pathway is intended for students with disabilities and from underprivileged families. Participants in the parent transfer pathway are students whose parents have been transferred. The zoning pathway is intended for students who reside in the zoning area of the educational unit.
