These are the best Senior High Schools in South Kalimantan that are included in the LTMPT's Top 1,000 Schools list of 2022.

Only 6 Senior High Schools (SMA) in South Kalimantan are included in the Top 1,000 schools list according to the 2022 ranking from the Indonesian Higher Education Entrance Examination Agency (LTMPT). The ranking was compiled from 23,657 schools and involved 745,115 participants from all over Indonesia.

SMAN Banua, Banjar Regency, is the best SMA in South Kalimantan, achieving a total score of 613.49 in the 2022 Computer-Based Written Examination (UTBK). With this achievement, SMAN Banua ranks 24th nationally.

Other South Kalimantan SMAs included in the Top 1,000 schools list of 2022 are Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) Insan Cendekia Tanah Laut with a score of 581.71, followed by SMAN 7 Banjarmasin City with a score of 527.05.

Next are SMAN 1 Banjarbaru with a UTBK score of 526.51; SMAN 2 Banjarbaru with a score of 524.03; and SMA Negeri 1 Banjarmasin with a score of 521.1.

* Schools with more than 40 participants in the 2022 UTBK (2022 graduates).
* 3,381 schools met this criterion.
* 515,165 participants met the 2022 UTBK assessment criteria.
* The 2022 UTBK score is calculated based on 60% TPS + 40% TKA.
* Schools are ranked based on the highest to lowest total score.
* The top 1,000 schools with the highest total scores are selected.
