Conflict Between Rector and Lecturers Over Budget: How Many Undergraduate Programs Exist at ITB's School of Business and Management (SBM)?

The Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) Rectorate is currently in dispute with the ITB School of Business and Management (SBM) Faculty Forum.

According to Jann Hidajat, a representative of the ITB SBM Faculty Forum, the conflict arose after the Rectorate revoked the school's self-management rights.

At the time of SBM ITB's establishment in 2003, the Rectorate stipulated that 80% of incoming funds would be managed by SBM, while 20% would go to ITB.

With changes in rectors, the portion of fund management was changed to 70% for SBM and 30% for ITB.

Then, since Prof. Reini Wirahadikusumah, Ph.D. took office as rector, the SBM's self-management portion was further reduced, until about six months ago when 100% of incoming funds were managed by ITB.

How Many Undergraduate Programs are There at SBM ITB?

Based on data from its official website, there are currently 50 undergraduate programs across all faculties/schools at ITB.

SBM ITB itself has 2 undergraduate programs: Entrepreneurship and Management.

Besides SBM, the ITB School of Architecture, Planning and Policy Development (SAPPK) and the ITB School of Pharmacy (SF) each also have 2 undergraduate programs.

Meanwhile, the ITB Faculty of Industrial Technology (FTI), the ITB School of Life Sciences and Technology (SITH), and the ITB School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics (STEI) each have 6 undergraduate programs.

The ITB Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), the ITB Faculty of Fine Arts and Design (FSRD), and the ITB Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering (FTSL) each have 5 undergraduate programs.

The ITB Faculty of Earth Sciences and Technology (FITB) and the ITB Faculty of Mining and Petroleum Engineering (FTTM) each have 4 undergraduate programs. The ITB Faculty of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (FTMD) has 3 undergraduate programs.
