Teachers' Concerns During In-Person Learning

A Wahana Visi Indonesia survey titled "The Voice of Teachers During the Covid-19 Pandemic" reveals that 60% of teachers are concerned about the reopening of schools. Of this number, 44% worry about students contracting Covid-19, while 37% are concerned about contracting the virus themselves.

Furthermore, 29% worry about not being able to conduct teaching and learning processes comfortably, 24% are concerned about not being able to conduct effective face-to-face learning, and 23% worry about their families contracting Covid-19 at home.

The survey was conducted from August 18 to September 5, 2020, involving 27,046 teachers and education personnel across 34 Indonesian provinces. 95% of respondents were from non-3T (remote, outermost, and forward) areas, and 5% from 3T areas. Additionally, 74% of respondents were from general education and 26% from special/inclusive education.
