10 PTNs with the Most Registrations for SNBP 2026, UPI Leading the Way

According to the report of the National Selection Based on Performance (SNBP) committee, there were 774,263 students who registered for the 2026 SNBP. Of these total registrants, only 162,116 students were declared successful.

"The acceptance rate was only 20.09% of the total participants. Our capacity is limited because public universities cannot increase their quotas without adequate resources or other infrastructure," said the General Chairman of the 2026 SNBPMB, Eduart Wolok, at a press conference on Tuesday (31/3/2026).

As for the public universities (PTN) that received the most registrants through the 2026 SNBP path, it was the University of Education Indonesia (UPI), with 53,311 registrants.

"The greatest interest is in the city of Bandung, perhaps because its population is larger, or perhaps because Bandung's appeal as a student city is also significant," said Eduart.

Here is the complete list of the 10 public universities with the most registrants in the 2026 SNBP:

1. University of Education Indonesia (UPI): 53,311 registrants
2. Surabaya State University (Unesa): 53,237 registrants
3. Padjadjaran University (Unpad): 48,933 registrants
4. Diponegoro University (Undip): 46,304 registrants
5. Semarang State University (Unnes): 41,556 registrants
6. Brawijaya University (UB): 40,841 registrants
7. Sebelas Maret University (UNS): 40,042 registrants
8. University of North Sumatra (USU): 39,114 registrants
9. Bogor Agricultural University (IPB): 37,477 registrants
10. University of Indonesia (UI): 35,118 registrants.
