Survey Indicator: 76% of the Public Agree with In-Person Schooling

Currently, the government is still implementing a policy of distance learning (PJJ) to prevent the spread of Covid-19 in school environments, especially in areas with high transmission rates.

Nevertheless, many citizens agree that face-to-face learning should resume.

Results from a survey by Indikator Politik Indonesia show that 76% of respondents agree with the plan to implement face-to-face learning. The breakdown is as follows: 49.1% agree and 26.9% strongly agree.

Meanwhile, 18.9% disagree, with a breakdown of 3.4% strongly disagreeing and 15.5% disagreeing with face-to-face learning. A further 5% of respondents did not answer or did not know.

The Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology explains that face-to-face learning is important to implement so that students do not experience excessive learning loss.

This survey was conducted from January 15 to February 17, 2022. 626 respondents participated, completing an online questionnaire. The margin of error is approximately 4% with a 95% confidence level.
