List of Science and Technology Programs in Indonesian Public Universities with the Highest SBMPTN Scores in 2021

Earlier today (Monday, June 14, 2021), the Indonesian National University Entrance Test Agency (LTMPT) announced the results of the Joint Selection for State Universities Entrance (SBMPTN) using the results of the Computer-Based Written Examination (UTBK). Based on these results, ten science and technology (saintek) study programs had the highest average SBMPTN 2021 scores. Four of these study programs are from the University of Indonesia (UI).

Chemical Engineering UI is recorded as the saintek study program with the highest UTBK score in SBMPTN 2021, at 893.37. Following in second place is Doctor of Medicine, State Islamic University of Jakarta, with a score of 884.79. UI's Electrical Engineering program is ranked third with a score of 883.07.

Next in order are: Actuarial Science UI (877.22), Doctor of Medicine, University of Mataram (876.37), Doctor of Medicine, UI (868.96), Medicine, Gadjah Mada University (868.03), Medicine, Airlangga University (863.24), Doctor of Medicine, Padjadjaran University (861.42), and Medicine, Gadjah Mada University (859.72).

SBMPTN 2021 was participated in by 74 State Universities and Institutes, 12 Vocational Schools in universities and institutes, 40 State Polytechnics, and 11 State Islamic Higher Education Institutions (PTKIN).

The Head of the Indonesian National University Entrance Test Agency (LTMPT), Prof. Mohamad Nasih, stated that out of a total of 777,858 registered participants in SBMPTN 2021, 184,942 were declared successful. Therefore, only 23.78% of participants passed the SBMPTN 2021.
