Latest Jambi Region Food Prices: Salt Up, Eggs Down

The price of several food commodities in Jambi today is observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Wednesday (4/12/2024) at 09.15 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 12 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include shallots, red chilies, broiler chicken, curly red chilies, and farmer-level corn.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as dry soybean (import), bulk cooking oil, skipjack tuna, granulated sugar, and broiler chicken eggs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Farmer-level corn experienced the highest price increase of Rp1,000 (16.67%) to Rp7,000 per kg. Meanwhile, milkfish experienced the sharpest price decrease of Rp2,100 (6.96%) to Rp28,060 per kg.
