Lampung Region Food Prices Thursday (May 2nd): Rice Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (2/5/2024) at 17.01 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include granulated sugar, chicken eggs, medium rice, bulk cooking oil, and milkfish.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as mackerel, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), fine iodized salt, red chilies, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of skipjack tuna increased the most, by Rp640 (2.32%) to Rp28,270 per kg. The price of dry soybean seeds (import) decreased the most, by Rp570 (4.48%) to Rp12,160 per kg.

9. Skipjack Tuna: Rp28,270 per kg (up 2.32%)
