Latest Food Prices in West Sumatra, What's the Price of Beef?

The prices of several food commodities in West Sumatra today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Wednesday (3/7/2024) at 12:13 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include medium-grain rice, farmer-level corn, granulated sugar, bulk cooking oil, and premium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, packaged cooking oil, broiler chicken, red chili peppers, and red onions decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of curly red chilies surged the highest by Rp2,050 (4.5%) to Rp47,630 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red chili peppers decreased the most sharply by Rp6,880 (11.86%) to Rp51,110 per kg.
