President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) has targeted state revenue of Rp2,781.3 trillion in the 2024 State Budget (RAPBN) draft. This figure is up 5.45% compared to the 2023 APBN outlook of Rp2,637.2 trillion.

This amount comes from natural resource revenue of Rp197.8 trillion, revenue from separated state assets of Rp80.8 trillion, other PNBP of Rp111 trillion, and revenue from Public Service Agencies (BLU) of Rp83.4 trillion.

Meanwhile, the target state revenue from grants has a relatively small value compared to the target revenue from other sectors. It amounts to only Rp0.4 trillion or 0.01% of the total target state revenue next year.

According to Jokowi, state revenue in the 2024 RAPBN is driven to be more optimal while maintaining the investment climate, business sustainability, and environmental sustainability. One of these is the government's optimization of tax revenue.
