Jambi Region Food Prices Saturday (28/9): Onion Prices Up, Egg Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday (28/9/2024) at 09.35 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include medium-grain rice, simple packaged cooking oil, premium rice, bulk cooking oil, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, dry soybeans (import), mackerel, granulated sugar, and red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase of Rp530 (2.11%) to Rp25,630 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of chicken eggs decreased the most sharply by Rp290 (1.07%) to Rp26,910 per kg.
