East Java Food Prices Thursday (14/11): Chicken Prices Up, Onion Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (14/11/2024) at 09.12 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include dry soybean (import), packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), broiler chicken, granulated sugar, and simple packaged cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as iodized fine salt, red chilies, milkfish, shallots, and garlic cloves decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Dry soybean (import) experienced the highest price increase of Rp360 (3.67%) to Rp10,160 per kg. Shallots experienced the largest price decrease of Rp1,290 (3.85%) to Rp32,180 per kg.

6. Milkfish: Rp31,960 per kg (down 1.93%)
7. Red Chili Peppers: Rp31,260 per kg (up 0.22%)
8. Skipjack Tuna: Rp29,580 per kg (down 0.54%)
9. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp25,220 per kg (down 0.67%)
10. Curly Red Chilies: Rp17,370 per kg (down 2.85%)
11. Simple Packaged Cooking Oil: Rp17,260 per liter (up 0.7%)
12. Granulated Sugar: Rp16,770 per kg (up 0.12%)
