Current Food Prices in Central Java: Beef, Sugar, and Rice Prices Drop

The price of several food commodities in Central Java today is observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (12/11/2024) at 16.28 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include red chilies, dry soybean (import), bulk cooking oil, garlic cloves, and curly red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken eggs, premium rice, pure beef, shallots, and bulk wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The commodity with the highest price increase was dry soybean (import), up by Rp180 (1.94%) to Rp9,480 per kg. The commodity with the largest price decrease was mackerel, down Rp420 (1.32%) to Rp31,290 per kg.
