Today's Food Prices in Yogyakarta: Egg and Salt Prices Rise

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, D.I. today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (30/7/2024) at 10:29 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include curly red chilies, fine iodized salt, skipjack tuna, red chili peppers, and chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk cooking oil, Indian mackerel, medium rice, pure beef, and premium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili peppers saw the highest price increase, up by Rp2,640 (3.95%) to Rp69,480 per kg. Shallots saw the sharpest price decrease, down by Rp460 (2.3%) to Rp19,580 per kg.
