Current Food Prices in Bali: Onions Up, Chilies Down

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (3/5/2024) at 15:56 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 4 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are shallots, skipjack tuna, bulk cooking oil, and dry soybean (import).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as premium rice, pure beef, red chilies, bulk wheat flour, and iodized fine salt decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Skipjack tuna prices surged the highest at Rp5,340 (23.62%) to Rp27,950 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of corn at the farmer level decreased the most at Rp940 (11.14%) to Rp7,500 per kg.
