Jakarta, DKI Region Food Prices Wednesday (18/12): Chili Prices Rise, Salt Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Wednesday (18/12/2024) at 11:17 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are bulk cooking oil, kembung fish, red chilies, shallots, and curly red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as milkfish, tongkol fish, pure beef, granulated sugar, and broiler chicken have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp6,650 (14.79%) to Rp51,610 per kg. Meanwhile, iodized fine salt experienced the sharpest price drop of Rp1,690 (14.14%) to Rp10,260 per kg.

6. Milkfish: Rp40,000 per kg (down 3.15%)
7. Tongkol Fish: Rp36,150 per kg (down 2.53%)
8. Kembung Fish: Rp35,970 per kg (up 1.75%)
9. Broiler Chicken: Rp34,290 per kg (down 8.83%)
