Latest Food Prices in East Java: Beef Prices Up, Chili Prices Down (Wednesday, January 31, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (31/1/2024) at 10:10 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include dry soybean (import), medium rice, farmer-level corn, premium rice, and bulk wheat flour.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as garlic bulbs, fine iodized salt, chicken eggs, bulk cooking oil, and red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of dry soybean (import) increased the most, by Rp750 (5.97%) to Rp13,310 per kg. The price of mackerel decreased the most, by Rp2,810 (8.37%) to Rp30,770 per kg.
