Today's Food Prices February 19 in DKI Jakarta: Bird's Eye Chili and Egg Prices Fall

Several food commodity prices in DKI Jakarta today were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

Quoting data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Thursday (February 19, 2026) at 18:01 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 3 commodities increased and 4 commodities decreased in price.

The commodities that increased in price were shallots, curly red chili, and large red chili.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as red bird's eye chili, broiler eggs, premium packaged palm cooking oil, and beef rump decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chili prices increased the most by Rp2,041 (3.8%) to Rp55,708 per kg. Premium packaged palm cooking oil prices decreased the most sharply by Rp333 (1.5%) to Rp21,896 per liter.
