Indonesia Food Prices Monday (March 10): Onion Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to be lower compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday, March 10, 2025, at 2:23 PM WIB, out of 23 commodities, 11 commodities increased in price and 12 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include packaged cooking oil, Minyakita, milkfish, chicken eggs, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as farmer-level corn, mackerel, packaged wheat flour, large red chilies, and table salt decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase, up by Rp404 (0.99%) to Rp41,100 per kg. Meanwhile, curly red chilies experienced the largest price drop, down Rp2,628 (4.82%) to Rp51,912 per kg.
