Jakarta, DKI Food Prices Today: Salt Prices Up, Rice Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Thursday (26/9/2024) at 15.21 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include iodized fine salt, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), pure beef, premium rice, and bulk wheat flour.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as granulated sugar, bulk cooking oil, milkfish, chicken eggs, and mackerel decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Iodized fine salt saw the highest price increase, jumping Rp1,390 (13.55%) to Rp11,650 per kg. Mackerel experienced the largest price drop, falling Rp1,020 (2.79%) to Rp35,570 per kg.

6. Skipjack Tuna: Rp35,660 per kg (down 1.36%)
7. Mackerel: Rp35,570 per kg (down 2.79%)
8. Chicken Meat: Rp34,820 per kg (up 4.1%)
9. Red Onion: Rp28,750 per kg (up 1.84%)
10. Chicken Eggs: Rp26,740 per kg (down 0.93%)
