West Java Food Prices Monday (May 13th): Salt and Rice Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday (13/5/2024) at 13.30 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include packaged simple cooking oil, kembung fish, shallot bulbs, milkfish, and broiler chicken meat.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, red chilies, curly red chilies, pure beef, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase of Rp620 (1.39%) to Rp45,080 per kg. Curly red chilies experienced the lowest price decrease of Rp3,610 (7.79%) to Rp42,750 per kg.
