Latest Food Prices in the Yogyakarta Special Region: Chicken and Chili Prices Increase

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, D.I. today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (8/12/2024) at 13:59 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 3 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include red chilies, iodized fine salt, broiler chicken meat, chicken eggs, and curly red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as dry soybean seeds (import), packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and simple packaged cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase at Rp740 (2.61%), reaching Rp29,060 per kg. Packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) experienced the sharpest price decrease, dropping Rp140 (1.23%) to Rp11,280 per kg.
