The Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) exchange rate against the US dollar (USD) on Wednesday, July 28, 2021, was Rp 14,498 per USD, or 0.06 percent higher than the previous day. This is down 0.1 percent compared to two days ago. Today's Rupiah is under pressure compared to the strengthening trend of recent weeks. Previously, the highest exchange rate of the Rupiah against the US dollar was recorded on Wednesday, July 21, 2021, at Rp 14,554 per USD. The Rupiah was traded weaker against the US dollar, with a difference of Rp 9 per USD compared to the previous rate.

Over the past week, the Rupiah exchange rate against the US dollar fluctuated within a range of Rp 65 per USD. The highest rate was Rp 14,554 per USD, and the lowest was Rp 14,489 per USD.

For the past month, the Rupiah exchange rate against the US dollar was traded with a wider price difference of Rp 96 per USD, with the lowest value being Rp 14,468 per USD.

Meanwhile, against other major currencies monitored by Bank Indonesia, the Rupiah's depreciation over the past week was highest against the Japanese Yen, followed by the Swiss Franc, Danish Krone, Euro, and Papua New Guinean Kina.

Over the past month, the Rupiah's performance was most negatively impacted against the Papua New Guinean Kina, followed by the US dollar, Saudi Riyal, Kuwaiti Dinar, and Vietnamese Dong.
