According to BPS (Statistics Indonesia) publications, with a total population of 397,330, the GRDP per capita in this region is recorded at Rp82,790,000/capita/year. Nationally, this ranks 100th.
Of the 17 sectors driving economic activity in this regency, agriculture, forestry, and fisheries are the leading sectors.
Agriculture, forestry, and fisheries rank first. In 2023, this sector contributed the largest share to the GRDP, reaching Rp12.92 trillion, with a growth of 4.34%.
The manufacturing industry sector followed, growing by 4% to Rp9.14 trillion. The wholesale and retail trade, repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles sector came in third, growing by 6.01% to Rp5.5 trillion.
Finally, rounding out the top five GRDP contributors in North Labuhan Batu Regency is the real estate sector with a value of Rp1.04 trillion. According to BPS, this sector grew by 2.97% over the past year from the previous achievement of Rp991.12 billion.
