Current Food Prices in West Java, How Much is Red Chili?

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (14/4/2025) at 17.17 WIB, out of 24 commodities, 13 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include red chilies, curly red chilies, milkfish, dry soybean (import), and packaged wheat flour.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as premium rice, broiler chicken, table salt, farmer-level corn, and broiler eggs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of skipjack tuna saw the highest increase, jumping Rp867 (2.41%) to Rp36,905 per kg. Broiler chicken prices experienced the steepest decline, dropping Rp534 (1.51%) to Rp34,857 per kg.
