Latest Food Prices in DKI Jakarta: Rice and Salt Prices Increase

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today have been observed to increase compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (23/10/2024) at 15.26 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 6 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), medium rice, broiler chicken, granulated sugar, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, bulk cooking oil, simple packaged cooking oil, milkfish, and mackerel decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots experienced the highest price increase, up by Rp1,560 (5.01%) to Rp32,670 per kg. Mackerel experienced the sharpest price decrease, down by Rp2,910 (7.66%) to Rp35,100 per kg.

6. Skipjack Tuna: Rp35,530 per kg (down 3.21%)
7. Mackerel: Rp35,100 per kg (down 7.66%)
8. Curly Red Chili: Rp33,390 per kg (up 2.71%)
9. Shallots: Rp32,670 per kg (up 5.01%)
