Jakarta, DKI Food Price Update Today: Onion Prices Up, Salt Prices Down (Saturday, January 27, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to be lower than yesterday's.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Saturday (27/1/2024) at 09.15 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include milkfish, bulk wheat flour, mackerel, red chilies, and pure beef.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as simple packaged cooking oil, granulated sugar, skipjack tuna, iodized fine salt, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Mackerel experienced the highest price increase of Rp6,030 (16.84%) to Rp41,830 per kg. Iodized fine salt had the lowest price decrease of Rp1,180 (10.55%) to Rp10,000 per kg.

3. Red Chili Peppers: Rp57,450 per kg (down 5.07%)
4. Mackerel: Rp41,830 per kg (up 16.84%)
5. Garlic Bulb: Rp40,000 per kg (unchanged)
6. Milkfish: Rp40,000 per kg (up 0.68%)
7. Red Onion: Rp39,690 per kg (up 9.4%)
8. Skipjack Tuna: Rp36,740 per kg (down 2.62%)
9. Broiler Chicken: Rp35,500 per kg (down 7.26%)
10. Chicken Eggs: Rp27,500 per kg (down 4.71%)
11. Simple Packaged Cooking Oil: Rp16,970 per liter (down 2.36%)
12. Premium Rice: Rp16,470 per kg (up 7.86%)
