Indonesia's Food Prices Wednesday (2/10): Oil and Onion Prices Fall

Prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Wednesday (2/10/2024) at 08.01 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include premium rice, kembung fish, shallots, tongkol fish, and chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as pure beef, SPHP rice, chicken meat, red chilies, and milkfish decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of corn at the farmer level increased the most, by Rp540 (8.99%) to Rp6,550 per kg. The price of milkfish decreased the most, by Rp2,120 (6.33%) to Rp31,360 per kg.

8. Curly Red Chilies: Rp30,530 per kg (down 2.24%)
9. Chicken Eggs: Rp29,230 per kg (up 2.6%)
10. Shallots: Rp28,390 per kg (up 0.64%)
