Rice Prices at Traditional Markets, December 2023-2024

Based on the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 11:44 WIB, the price of rice in Lampung Province's traditional markets has not changed compared to the previous day, mirroring the trend of the past week.

However, compared to the price 30 days ago, the price of rice in traditional markets has increased from Rp14,300.

Meanwhile, the price of rice in traditional markets in Lampung over the past three months has increased by 3.57% from the previous trading price of Rp14,000.

The highest recorded increase in rice prices in the province's traditional markets was in January 2021, with a 10.29% increase, while the lowest decrease was also recorded in January 2021, at -9.33%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, today's prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) in Lampung show 11 commodities decreased and seven increased. The commodities with decreased prices are Granulated Sugar, Red Chili, Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 1, Premium Quality Granulated Sugar, Rice, Beef, Red Onion, Red Chili, Chicken, and Garlic.

The following are the prices of basic commodities monitored by PIHPS today compared to the price trends over the past month in Lampung Province:

8. Chicken Eggs per Kg Rp28,950 per kg (up 2.84%)
9. Large Red Chili per Kg Rp87,750 per kg (unchanged)
