Food prices in Jambi today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Tuesday (16/1/2024) at 13:36 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 5 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include granulated sugar, milkfish, chicken eggs, medium rice, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red onions, chicken meat, mackerel, skipjack tuna, and red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish saw the highest price increase of Rp2,500 (10.0%) to Rp27,500 per kg. Red chilies saw the lowest price decrease of Rp830 (1.78%) to Rp45,700 per kg.
