Price of Bird's Eye Chili in Modern Markets for the Period February 2025-2026

According to the latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel, the daily price of bird's eye chili in modern markets of DKI Jakarta province is recorded at Rp114,850 per kg. This price remains unchanged compared to the previous day, as does the price trend over the past week.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of bird's eye chili in modern markets has increased from the previously recorded Rp70,100 per kg.

Meanwhile, the daily price of bird's eye chili in modern markets in DKI Jakarta over the past three months has increased by 56.9% from the previously traded Rp73,200 per kg.

The record increase in the daily price of bird's eye chili in modern markets in this province was previously recorded in February 2017 with an increase of 137.06%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in January 2017 with a decrease of -36.42%.

According to the PIHPS monitoring, the price of nine staple foods (sembako) today in DKI Jakarta shows that ten commodities have decreased and 19 others have increased. The sembako with decreasing prices are Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 2, Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 1, Cooking Oil, Chicken Meat, Fresh Layer Chicken Eggs, Chicken Eggs, Grade 2 Beef, Grade 1 Beef, Beef, and Fresh Layer Chicken Meat.
