Today's Food Prices in Banten: Rice, Chili, and Egg Prices Increase

Food prices in Banten today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (28/7/2024) at 10:45 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include premium rice (SPHP), chicken eggs, simple packaged cooking oil, medium rice, and red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as milkfish, bulk cooking oil, mackerel, skipjack tuna, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase, up by Rp8,260 (11.81%) to Rp78,190 per kg. Shallots experienced the sharpest price drop, down Rp2,920 (10.53%) to Rp24,800 per kg.
