Super II Rice Prices in Traditional Markets, April 2024-2025

Latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel: the daily price of Super II quality rice in traditional markets in Riau Islands Province is recorded at Rp16,150. This price is up Rp100 compared to the previous day.

Regarding the price 30 days ago, the daily price of Super II quality rice in traditional markets has not changed from the previous record of Rp16,150.

Meanwhile, the daily price of Super II quality rice in traditional markets in the Riau Islands Province over the past three months has increased by 1.57% from the previous record of Rp15,900.

The record high for the daily price of Super II quality rice in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in January 2021 with an increase of 27.06%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in January 2021 with a decrease of -21.3%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in the Riau Islands Province show 11 commodities decreased and 12 increased. Basic commodities with price decreases are: Rice in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Beef in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Chili in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Green Chili in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Chicken Eggs in Traditional Markets by Province, Inferior Quality Rice I, Fresh Chicken Eggs in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Grade 1 Beef in Traditional Markets by Province, Inferior Quality Rice II, Daily Red Chili in Traditional Markets by Province, and Daily Curly Red Chili in Traditional Markets by Province.
