West Java Food Price Update Today: Chicken Price Up, Salt Price Down (Sunday, February 11, 2024)

Food prices in West Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Sunday (11/2/2024) at 09.13 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 15 commodities increased and 3 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include skipjack tuna, granulated sugar, bulk wheat flour, Indian mackerel, and pure beef.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, iodized fine salt, and dry soybean (import) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of Indian mackerel saw the highest increase, jumping Rp1,730 (4.4%) to Rp41,060 per kg. The price of iodized fine salt saw the lowest decrease, falling Rp1,150 (11.0%) to Rp9,300 per kg.
