Bali Food Prices on Monday (September 30th): Rice, Beef, and Egg Prices Increase

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Monday (30/9/2024) at 10:40 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include dry soybean (import), SPHP rice, red chili peppers, bulk wheat flour, and chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, granulated sugar, skipjack tuna, iodized fine salt, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Dry soybean (import) prices surged the highest by Rp570 (5.41%) to Rp11,100 per kg. Meanwhile, red chili prices fell the most sharply by Rp1,840 (5.27%) to Rp33,050 per kg.

5. Milkfish: Rp34,480 per kg (down 4.88%)
6. Red Chili: Rp33,050 per kg (down 5.27%)
7. Chicken Eggs: Rp27,090 per kg (up 0.52%)
8. Skipjack Tuna: Rp26,030 per kg (down 0.57%)
9. Shallot: Rp24,110 per kg (down 0.12%)
10. Red Chili Peppers: Rp19,370 per kg (up 0.73%)
11. Simple Packaged Cooking Oil: Rp17,680 per liter (down 0.39%)
