Today's Food Price List in Yogyakarta Special Region: Egg, Chili, and Sugar Prices Down (Wednesday, January 10, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, today are observed to be lower compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at 10:37 WIB (Western Indonesian Time), out of 19 commodities, 7 saw price increases and 11 saw price decreases.

Commodities that increased in price include garlic bulbs, skipjack tuna, medium-grain rice, shallots, and premium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk wheat flour, granulated sugar, red chilies, mackerel, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish experienced the highest price increase, jumping Rp1,580 (4.34%) to Rp37,950 per kg. Red chili peppers saw the largest price decrease, falling Rp8,180 (13.33%) to Rp53,180 per kg.
