Today's Food Prices in DKI Jakarta: Chili and Rice Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

According to data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Sunday (3/11/2024) at 09.15 WIB, out of 18 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include pure beef, chicken eggs, bulk cooking oil, mackerel, and red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as iodized fine salt, garlic cloves, medium rice, bulk wheat flour, and milkfish decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase, jumping Rp5,980 (12.2%) to Rp55,000 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of chicken meat saw the steepest decrease, dropping Rp9,530 (25.39%) to Rp28,000 per kg.

The following is a complete list of the prices of 18 food commodities in DKI Jakarta according to Bapanas on November 3, 2024, at 09.15 WIB.

1. Pure Beef: Rp140,000 per kg (up 2.5%)
2. Red Chilies: Rp55,000 per kg (up 12.2%)
3. Red Onions: Rp40,000 per kg (up 4.11%)
4. Garlic Cloves: Rp40,000 per kg (down 3.15%)
5. Mackerel: Rp35,000 per kg (up 1.24%)
6. Milkfish: Rp32,000 per kg (down 20.62%)
7. Curly Red Chilies: Rp30,000 per kg (down 7.52%)
8. Skipjack Tuna: Rp30,000 per kg (down 16.34%)
9. Chicken Eggs: Rp28,000 per kg (up 1.38%)
10. Chicken Meat: Rp28,000 per kg (down 25.39%)
11. Granulated Sugar: Rp19,000 per kg (up 2.37%)
12. Bulk Cooking Oil: Rp18,000 per liter (up 5.45%)
13. Simple Packaged Cooking Oil: Rp18,000 per liter (down 1.1%)
