Rice Prices at Traditional Markets, January 2024

Based on the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 07:44 WIB, the price of rice in Bengkulu Province's traditional markets has not changed compared to the previous day or the last week.

However, over the past month, the price of rice in traditional markets has decreased from the previous record of Rp15,250.

Meanwhile, the price of rice in traditional markets in Bengkulu over the past three months has shown a 0% decrease. According to historical food price records in the PIHPS price panel, the price of rice in Bengkulu Province's traditional markets is traded at Rp15,150.

The highest recorded price increase for rice in the province's traditional markets was in June 2022, with a 16.37% increase, and the lowest decrease was also recorded in June 2022, at -13.69%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, today's prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) in Bengkulu show three commodities decreased and 19 others increased. The basic commodities with price decreases are Red Chilies, Fresh Layer Eggs, and Chicken Eggs.

9. Fresh Layer Eggs per kg: Rp28,850 (down 0.69%)
10. Super Quality I Rice per kg: Rp15,350 (unchanged)
