Food Prices Today, December 17, in West Sumatra: Red Chili and Bird's Eye Chili Prices Decrease

Today's prices for several food commodities in West Sumatra are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Necessity Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Wednesday (December 17, 2025) at 15:51 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 1 commodity increased and 2 commodities decreased.

Only Honan garlic increased in price.

Meanwhile, prices for several commodities such as bird's eye red chili and curly red chili decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Honan garlic surged the highest by Rp28 (0.09%) to Rp32,611 per kg. The price of bird's eye red chili dropped the most by Rp1,667 (2.07%) to Rp78,889 per kg.
