Latest Food Prices in Jakarta: Onion and Oil Prices Drop

Prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (21/10/2024) at 15.26 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 2 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are pure beef and red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as premium rice, shallots, mackerel, medium rice, and skipjack tuna have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp620 (1.24%) to Rp50,800 per kg. Medium rice experienced the sharpest price drop of Rp170 (1.27%) to Rp13,210 per kg.
