Banten Region Food Prices Thursday (8/8): Chili Prices Up, Egg Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Thursday (8/8/2024) at 14:48 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 14 commodities increased and 6 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include milkfish, iodized fine salt, granulated sugar, Indian mackerel, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as dry soybean (import), broiler chicken meat, premium rice, bulk wheat flour, and broiler chicken eggs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of milkfish saw the highest increase of Rp2,020 (6.19%) to Rp34,650 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of dry soybean (import) decreased the most sharply by Rp280 (2.2%) to Rp12,460 per kg.
