Current Food Prices in DKI Jakarta: Sugar Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (6/5/2024) at 13:29 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 2 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

The commodities that increased in price are shallots and red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as broiler chicken, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), milkfish, chicken eggs, and shallots have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp580 (1.23%), reaching Rp47,760 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of curly red chilies saw the lowest decrease of Rp1,560 (2.74%), reaching Rp55,280 per kg.
