The Directorate General of State Assets (DJKN) of the Ministry of Finance recorded domestic auction transaction values reaching Rp44.34 trillion in 2023. This exceeded the 2023 auction target of Rp33 trillion.
This value represents a 20.54% year-on-year (YoY) increase from Rp35.23 trillion in 2022. This achievement is also the highest in the history of auction implementation in Indonesia.
"Auctions have been steadily increasing since 2018, indicating a growing public interest in auctions, especially now that we are using a platform with highly maintained accountability," said DJKN Auction Director Joko Prihanto in a statement reported by Antara on Thursday (25/1/2024).
According to the source, the majority of auction transaction values originated from voluntary auctions, including those conducted by Class II Auction Officials, totaling Rp18.71 trillion. This represents 42% of the total auction transactions throughout last year.

* Class II Auction Officials: Rp18.71 trillion
* Article 6 of the Mortgage Law (UUHT): Rp11.78 trillion
* Auction of confiscated or seized goods from the prosecutor's office: Rp2.23 trillion
* Auction of bankrupt assets: Rp1.82 trillion
* Auction of state/regional assets (BMN/D) excluding customs: Rp748.5 billion
* Court execution auction: Rp414.63 billion
* Seized BMN from customs and excise: Rp28.96 billion
* Central/regional tax execution: Rp13.55 billion
* State Debt Management Committee (PUPN), including Bank Indonesia Liquidity Assistance (BLBI): Rp31.84 billion
* Assets formerly managed by PT Perusahaan Pengelola Aset (PPA): Rp3.83 billion
Furthermore, last year's auction organizers contributed Rp4.59 trillion to state revenue.
Of this amount, Rp4.37 trillion is recorded as state revenue, comprising net auction proceeds of Rp3.06 billion, Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) from auctions of Rp974 billion, and tax revenue of Rp330 billion. The remaining Rp200 billion represents regional taxes.
