Current Food Prices in Jambi Province: Rice Up, Chilies Down

The price of several food commodities in Jambi today is observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (21/6/2024) at 15.37 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are pure beef, kembung fish, shallots, chicken eggs, and medium-grain rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk cooking oil, shallot bulbs, red chilies, premium rice, and curly red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Medium-grain rice saw the highest price increase of Rp50 (0.39%) to Rp12,930 per kg. Curly red chilies experienced the largest price decrease of Rp5,280 (8.18%) to Rp59,280 per kg.
