Jakarta DKI Region Food Prices, Week of December 15th: Onion Prices Rise, Chicken Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Sunday (15/12/2024) at 11:38 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 11 commodities increased in price and 7 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include skipjack tuna, simple packaged cooking oil, shallots, red chilies, and chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as milkfish, broiler chicken, fine iodized salt, bulk wheat flour, and granulated sugar decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots experienced the highest price increase at Rp5,460 (11.91%) to Rp51,300 per kg. Broiler chicken experienced the largest price decrease at Rp2,480 (6.5%) to Rp35,660 per kg.
