Premium quality granulated sugar prices in Central Sulawesi rose 15.64% in a week.

Premium quality granulated sugar in Central Sulawesi was sold at Rp 15,900 per kg on Monday, December 26, 2022. Compared to other regions, the price change in this region was the highest in the last week.

According to daily monitoring of basic commodity price data from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center, the price of premium quality granulated sugar in Central Sulawesi has increased by 15.64% in a week.

Meanwhile, compared to the previous 30 days, the price of premium quality granulated sugar in this region has increased by 13.57%.

However, for the last year, the selling price of premium quality granulated sugar in modern markets in Central Sulawesi has actually decreased. The previous highest record reached Rp 16,000 per kg.

For the period January-December 2022, the price of premium quality granulated sugar in modern markets continued to rise, increasing by 13.57% compared to the previous month.

The price of premium quality granulated sugar reached its lowest point at Rp 13,700 per kg on Wednesday, April 13, 2022. The highest price this year reached approximately Rp 16,000 per kg.

Nationally, the price of premium quality granulated sugar began to rise towards the end of 2021. The average price of premium quality granulated sugar in modern markets was Rp 14,770 per kg, up 0.47% compared to the end of last week.
