Jambi Food Price Update Today: Chili Prices Up, Cooking Oil Prices Down (Monday, April 8, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (8/4/2024) at 09.22 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include shallots, skipjack tuna, red chilies, milkfish, and broiler chicken.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as Indian mackerel, bulk cooking oil, bulk wheat flour, garlic bulbs, and premium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of corn at the farmer level increased the most by Rp1,470 (17.93%) to Rp9,670 per kg. The price of bulk cooking oil decreased the most by Rp360 (2.37%) to Rp14,840 per liter.
