Today's Food Prices in Banten Region: Prices of Oil, Chicken, and Rice Increase

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Tuesday (30/7/2024) at 11:43 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 13 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include bulk cooking oil, red chilies, broiler chicken, garlic cloves, and medium-grain rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk wheat flour, dry soybean (import), skipjack tuna, shallots, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The commodity with the highest price increase was livestock-level corn, up by Rp1,700 (23.29%) to Rp9,000 per kg. The sharpest price decrease was shallots, down Rp1,990 (7.06%) to Rp26,180 per kg.
